Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer at RacerX.AI, you will play a critical role in optimizing, automating, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment processes. You’ll work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of our website optimization services. This role focuses heavily on automation, scalability, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) to streamline and enhance our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and infrastructure updates.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline code deployment and ensure high system availability.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and ensure system reliability and security.
• Implement and manage container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes to improve scalability and resilience.
• Optimize system performance and infrastructure for cost efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Write and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) to handle routine tasks and infrastructure management.
• Ensure infrastructure and application monitoring is in place using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with SysAdmin and development teams to enhance infrastructure security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of networking, security best practices, and system monitoring.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and best practices for branching and merging.
• Ability to work in a remote-first environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Familiarity with database management and optimization (SQL/NoSQL databases).
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and caching strategies.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API gateways.
