Job Summary

As a System Administrator (SysAdmin) at RacerX.AI, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge solutions. You will manage and support our cloud-based environments, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. You’ll also work closely with our DevOps and engineering teams to streamline operations and maintain a secure and reliable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based servers and networks (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Ensure high availability of services and infrastructure, optimizing for performance and reliability.
• Automate routine tasks and system administration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and shell scripts.
• Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations across multiple environments.
• Implement security best practices to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery plans, and data integrity.
• Regularly apply software updates, patches, and bug fixes to ensure system stability and security.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and usage metrics to identify and address potential issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Understanding of security best practices, firewalls, encryption, and VPNs.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of website optimization and performance tools.
• Experience working in a fully remote environment.
